A Fire Burns in Breslov

The Rebbe would reveal awesome teachings on Friday evenings, and everybody would feel an arousal to God. But afterwards they went to sleep. Reb Noson, however, because of his burning desire for spirituality, used to go to the hills along the Bug River and pray the entire night, asking that the Rebbe’s blazing fire should kindle his heart. –Through Fire & Water

The words to this beautiful melody sung by Yosef Karduner are, “a fire burns in Breslov, may it light up my heart.” These words were said by Reb Noson as he prayed near this enchanting spot.
