Gedaliah Fleer is a teacher, storyteller, lecturer and author who explores the depths of Jewish mysticism and Hassidic philosophy. He is acknowledged by the Encyclopedia Judaica as one of today's leading authorities on Jewish mysticism. Rabbi Fleer is internationally known for his unique teaching style, in which he articulates complex and esoteric concepts clearly to contemporary men and women of all backgrounds and levels of learning. Utilizing his additional studies of modern psychology and literature, his teaching is profound and practical at the same time. Gedaliah Fleer was born in New York city. He studied for rabbinic ordination at the Navordoc Yeshiva in Brooklyn, followed by advanced studies at the Mirer Yeshiva and Yeshiva Torah V'daath. He received further ordination at the Yeshivat Chasidei Breslov in Jerusalem. Rabbi Fleer, who lives and teaches in Jerusalem, Israel, spends several months each year as a popular lecturer all over the world.
