I love to learn Torah; it revives me and illuminates my life. But there are times when I can’t learn, either because my mind is occupied, or circumstances don’t permit it. Where do I get my spiritual vitality then, during the times that I’m not actively learning Torah?
I get it from the hidden Torah that animates all of creation.
God created the universe with ten utterances, paralleling the ten pronouncements of Sinai. There is Divine truth and communication—Torah—at the heart of all of reality, and it’s that Torah that animates me when I’m busy just being a “regular person.”
