Parshat Behalotcha – Pursuing Peace

Parshat Behalotcha-Pursuing Peace

This week on BreslovCampus, Meir Elkabas discusses the Torah portion, Parshat Behalotcha.

We learn about the seven candles on the menorah in the Beit Hamikdash, the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Rebbe Noson tells us that the seven candles represent the seven shepherds of Israel. Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov on one side, Aharon, Yosef and David on the other side, all facing the middle branch who is Moshe Rebbeinu. Reb Meir explains what this teaches us about Aharon who pursued peace and allowed his younger brother, Moshe, to be the greatest Tzaddik.
