The great Rabbi, head of the Beis Din, Rav Mordechai Halberstam of Sokolov, was so genuinely humble he would cry his heart out at Rebbe Nachman’s grave in Uman as if he were the worst sinner. We know that Rebbe Nachman told his follwers that when they get to the Heavenly Courts after this lifetime they should plead and beg that they not be sent down to this earth through reincarnation. However, there is one caveat we learn from Breslov tradition. In this moving video, Meir Elkabas explains the exception to the rule.
