Now, we speak about the coming of Moshiach as the geulah, as the rise, the return of the Jews once and for all to their rightful status as the leading nation on earth, a time when there will be peace throughout the world, a time when the Jews will live as the leaders spiritually guide to all and there will be no more wars and no more physical problems whatsoever. Before any aliyah, before any ascent, there must be a yeridah, a descent. There must be a nefilah before an aliyah. Therefore, Moshiach’s coming represents the aliyah, the greatest rise possible.
