The numerical value of the words “yemei haChanukah” equal that of “Nachman” – 149 together with the word itself (Kochvei Or, Chochma U’binah, 25).
It’s certainly no coincidence that Chanukah alludes to igniting the light of our holy Rebbe.
In his book (Alim LiTrufah) translated into English as Healing Leaves Reb Noson writes to his son in letter 445, penned on Chanukah, about all the great wonders and salvations that HaShem did for them, especially the fact that after all the trials and tribulations, they finally succeeded in publishing the books –”How great is that salvation and that wondrous, awesome miracle!”
Truly, every book that Reb Noson wrote involved tremendous miracles until it was published. We want you, too, to be part of that awesome miracle.
“Let this be recorded for the final generation, so that the newborn people will praise God.” – Reb Noson
Reb Noson spoke of his prayers with a reference to the verse in Tehillim 102, “Let this be recorded for the final generation, so that the newborn people will praise God.” There will be a future nation, he said, that will praise God with these prayers (Kochvei Or, 24). He also said that these prayers are higher than Divine inspiration, since they are drawn from the fiftieth gate. He said that many people have already merited Gan Eden through his prayers (Kochvei Or, 25).
