Last Rosh HaShanah, thanks to your support, we completed the construction of the BRI Uman Educational Center. Our beautiful new lodging and shul is able to host groups of travelers from around the world—not only for Rosh HaShanah, but throughout the year.

In our first year of beginning our “official” trips, the BRI Experience has led three groups of men and our very first women’s trip.

Fall, 2015 (Men’s Experience Tour)

In Elul, 5775, a group of 25 men joined Rabbis Chaim Kramer and Shlomo Katz.  You can watch a video of our trip to Kivrei Tzadikim in the Ukraine.

Spring, 2016 (2 Men’s Experience Tours)

The feedback was so positive, that we decided to do two more trips for men shortly before Pesach. Rabbis Chaim Kramer and Shlomo Katz led the first trip, and Chaim was joined by world-renowned Breslov musician Yosef Karduner for the second trip. One of the highlights of this trip was when we hosted this concert at Reb Noson’s gravesite with Yosef Karduner and talented clarinetist, Chilik Frank.

Summer, 2016 (First Women’s Experience Tour)

In June, our much-yearned for first women’s mission to Uman finally became a reality. Led by Chaya Rivka Zwolinski and managed by Zvi Kramer, it included an incredible Shabbaton with BRI founders Chaim and Gita Kramer as well as live music with Esther Leah Marchette, a malave malka impromptu performance by chazan Shimmy Fried, and a hitbodedut workshop on a sunny day in Sofievka Park.. The women enjoyed traveling to the gravesites of tzaddikim including Rav Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the Baal Shem Tov in Mezhibuzh, Reb Noson in Breslov, and of course, Rebbe Nachman’s tziyun in Uman.

See our gallery of pictures from the women’s mission at the bottom of this post.  Keep reading for information about upcoming tours.

If you haven’t yet joined us for a trip, there couldn’t be a better time.

Our next trip for men with Chaim Kramer and Shlomo Katz is in Elul. Sorry, the Elul trip is SOLD OUT.

We’re also planning a post-Sukkot trip for men on Nov. 21st with Yosef Karduner and for women (tentative Nov. 6th) and are already discussing our 2017 schedule.

Be sure to contact us at [email protected] for our future men’s trip or at [email protected] for our women’s trip. And sign up for our e-mailing list for tours and other BRI news by adding your email address to the form on the top right of this page.

We are are looking forward to making your journey as comfortable, exciting, and spiritually uplifting as possible.

Nesiya Tova!
