Rebbe Nachman of Breslov taught…

Reb Nosson wrote: “This is the way a Jew must travel, whether he goes far or near, even within his own city… His intention should be to make money in order to be able to give charity… When he goes out, he should go with the hope of meeting someone with whom he can speak about the tachlis, the true purpose of life, and with whom he can share the novel Torah concepts of the true tzaddikim…”

What does this mean to me?

A prayer:

Architect of the world,
Author of her story,
grant me the courage to participate
in the world’s design,
to join in the unfolding of her story.
How I want to share
in the responsibility of this world—
to pray for her welfare, to care for her needs,
to safeguard her treasures,
to work for her rectification.
