This week on BreslovCampus, Meir Elkabas discusses the Torah portion, Parshat Vayishlach, with insights from Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. Yaakov/Yisrael, a man of Truth, prepares himself for his meeting with Esav with a prayer of intense truth, and he connects with the Ohr Hapanim, the Light of God’s Countenance, and burns off all evil. When we feel we are faced with tremendous, intense struggles, we should be like Yaakov, and fight our difficulties with intense prayer. All our main effort should be prayer.

by Meir Elkabasby Meir ElkabasThis week on BreslovCampus, Meir Elkabas discusses the Torah portion, Parshat Toldot with insights from Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. For example, when a person goes out to work/business, there are many temptations to gain money and his main focus can be on this world. However, if he can focuses on the ultimate purpose, he can connect to Hashem. This focus is the difference between Yaakov (Jacob) and Esav (Esau.) In Part 2 of this week’s Parsha video, we learn why Yaakov bought Esav’s birthright and the essence of Edom.

The forefathers were very involved with converting people to Judaism, and Rebbe Nachman says that Yaacov was especially involved in bringing people close to Hashem.
