Rosh Chodesh Nissan—The Light of Rebbe Nachman Begins
Happy Birthday!! Yes, today is Rebbe Nachman’s birthday. Even after the Tzaddik’s passing, his birthday is still commemorated (as in Moshe Rabbeinu’s birthday on the 7th of Adar).
With that said, it shows the connection between Nissan and Rebbe Nachman: Pesach = Nachman (148), and his birthdate is the first of Nissan.
Rebbe Nachman once said that in time to come the entire world will become Breslover Chassidim. Thus, the Halakhah states that on Pesach every Jew should feel the comfort of being free and at ease, without any financial constraints preventing them from enjoying and delighting in the Pesach festival, since ultimately every Jew will have a unique connection with this Tzaddik—i.e., Rebbe Nachman (=Pesach=148).
With this in mind, we turn to you to extend your hand in support of the needy Breslover families of the Holy Land who have dedicated their entire lives to serving Hashem according to the guidance and teachings of Rebbe Nachman.
For who would be more deserving than them to delight in the light of Pesach = Nachman?
Even if you have already committed your support to other organizations, we still ask you to extend yourself to the Breslover Chassidim, so that you too can have a part in the holy light of Rebbe Nachman that shines on the Pesach holiday more than at any other time of the year.
With blessings for a Kosher and Happy Passover,
Meir Elkabas on behalf of the BRI Pesach Campaign
