“We always find in Rebbe Nachman’s teachings mention of the True Tzaddik. Who is…

This week on BreslovCampus, Meir Elkabas discusses the Torah portion, Parshat Vayigash with insights from Rebbe Nachman of Breslov and Reb Noson. In this parsha Yosef went through a lot of trouble to conceal from his brothers the real reasons for his actions. Reb Meir explains how when the tzaddikim want to give a gift and lasting blessing, sometimes they have to disguise what they are doing, and even hiding the process via strife and controversy.
When we experience tribulations in our connection to the true tzaddikim we can ask: If this is real strife, is the Tzaddik really pushing me away? Or, is there a deeper reason behind my difficulties?
Has Rebbe Nachman helped you to come closer to Judaism?
Yosef HaTzaddik, who went out of his way to try to connect to the “second class” tribes, the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah. This continues to this day, the idea that newcomers to Judaism, or unlearned individuals, need a great Tzaddik to help people come closer to Hashem. In Uman Rebbe Nachman saw a holy spark of hope in the intellectual Jews who weren’t living according to Torah, and spent time with them. Rebbe Nachman’s teachings help anyone who truly wants to be part of the Jewish people, similar to Yosef HaTzaddik.Like this video? Please SUBSCRIBE and SHARE this video.
Meir Elkabas discusses this week’s Torah parsha, Parshat Vayigash, in which Yehuda speaks to Yosef and says that he respects him like a king (Pharoah). Reb Noson says this verse reveals how we need the tzaddik especially to help add a special boost to our prayer, helping us overcome the negative thoughts that occur, thoughts that we refer to as Pharoah.

The Biblical lessons of the Torah reveal past, present and future to us. Just like Yosef Hatzaddik who was the viceroy of Pharoah, saved the Jewish people, taking them out of Egypt, there is rising/has risen/will rise a Tzaddik who has faced major opposition who will take us out of exile too.Like this video?
