Chaim Kramer- Parshat Va’etchanan
This week Chaim Kramer discusses the Torah portion Va’etchanan. This is Shabbat Nachamu, the Shabbat of consolation after the increasingly intense mourning period of The Three Weeks, culminating in the fast of Tisha B’av. Reb Chaim discusses why Moses was broken-hearted when he was not allowed to enter the Land of Israel; why he had to be buried outside the Holy Land; Moses’ prayers; the Ten Commandments; the mitzvah of Shabbat; the Shema Yisrael, and more.
