This course is for those who want to begin or improve their practice of hitbodedut. There will be plenty of time for Q and A. If you don’t know what hitbodedut is or are new to Breslov, you need to take this course.

In this course, Meir Elkabas will reveal the down-to-earth techniques that Breslovers use to tap into joy, as well as deep teachings on happiness rooted in Kabbalah. Be prepared to learn spiritual yet practical advice on how to bring more joy into your life.

Explore the age-old quest to uncover the reason for the Creation and its origin, as explained by the Kabbalah.

Level: All. This course does not require knowledge of Breslov Chassidus but will appeal to those interested in a deeply thoughtful, intellectual exploration of the ideas of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, which are sourced in the Kabbalah of the Ari’zal, Rabbi Yitzchak Luria.

In this course on Creation and the ideas of R’ Nachman, the student is introduced to the fundamental principles of the Lurianic Kabbalistic system as developed in Torah 64 of LM, which serves as a conceptual foundation upon which many of Rebbe Nachman’s ideas are constructed. Lesson 64 explores the age-old quest to uncover the reason for the Creation and its origin, as explained by the Kabbalah. Rebbe Nachman creatively employs these grand Kabbalistic principles in developing his unique approach to understanding human psychology which provides keen insight and direction in dealing with essential questions of Faith.

Reb Noson, Rebbe Nachman’s leading student and scribe, tells us that the depth and breadth of Rebbe Nachman’s utterly original teachings were designed to show us how improve our relationships with our spiritual self, each other and God. In his unique work, Likutey Halachot, Reb Noson extrapolates from Rebbe Nachman’s works to uncover rich insights into the Shulchan Oruch (the Code of Jewish Law), a text that is often misperceived as dry, dusty, or irrelevant. Likutey Halachot is bursting with inspirational explications of halacha (Jewish law), via the light of Breslov Chassidut, scripture, and the Kabbalastic masters.
